About AshieBee
Ashleigh Brianna Wright, known artistically as AshieBee, is a dynamic musical artist, vocalist, dancer, and educator whose life has been shaped by music since the age of three. Raised in a deeply musical family, she began developing her artistry through voice, piano, and dance, cultivating a sound and performance style that seamlessly blends all genres of music.
Her movement and performance journey spans leadership as Captain of the Ruby Redz Dancing Dollz, performances with Augusta West, the Augusta Ballet Company, collegiate dance and coaching with the Doah Dollz, and work as a Georgia Soul semi-professional dancer. These experiences inform her work as a musical artist, allowing her to approach music with intention, storytelling, and physicality.
Ashleigh earned her Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from Albany State University, graduating with honors. During her collegiate career, she brought depth and charisma to the stage in productions such as Ain’t Misbehavin’ as Miss Queen, operatic scenes as Susanna (The Marriage of Figaro) and Pamina (The Magic Flute), and as a featured soloist with the Albany State Concert Chorale and Dance Company.
Committed to artistic freedom and vocal health, Ashleigh pursued graduate studies at Shenandoah University, where she expanded her understanding of vocal anatomy and Contemporary Commercial Music. This journey led to the creation of AshieBee Voice Studios, guided by her mission: “Love Your Voice, Bask in Your Song.” Through her studio and her work as a recording and performing artist, Ashleigh celebrates genre-fluid musicianship and authentic self-expression.
An award-winning educator, Ashleigh was named Music Teacher of the Year (2023–2024) in the Richmond County School System and currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Voice at Brenau University. Whether on stage, in the studio, or in the classroom, AshieBee is devoted to inspiring artists to honor their individuality, trust their voice, and confidently sing their own song.
